Attractions that charm -

whether it's walking, cycling or driving, the Old Stores House is perfectly situated to provide for all tastes.

Situated within yards of the Saxon Shore Way for walkers and close to the quiet, pretty lanes of Romney Marsh for cyclists. Further afield is the City of Canterbury, the beaches at Camber and the RSPB reserve at Dungeness.

Walking- The Saxon Shore Way passes yards from the property. Local walking also includes Hamstreet Woods, the Royal Military Canal path and leisurely strolls to local pubs.

Cycling - the farmland of Romney Marsh is criss-crossed with quiet, almost traffic free lanes and byways and it's complete flatness make it a perfect place for family cycling.

Bird Watching - the nearby Hamstreet Woods is a National Nature Reserve and in particular is famous for its Nightingales. The RSPB reserve at Dungeness is within an easy drive and is an ideal place for watching migrant birds.

Shopping and Eating- Nearby Tenterden is one of the original Cinque Ports and is famous for it's antique shops and restaurants. Rye is close-by and for those without a car there is a direct train service from Hamstreet. Further afield, the historic city of Canterbury provides a selection of outstanding restaurants, historic attractions and fantastic shops.

Hot-Air Ballooning - local company Merlin Balloons operate out of Hamstreet and often have late flight availability from their website.

Port Lympne Wild Animal Park - set in 600 acres, Port Lympne offers a treat for everyone.

Other local attractions include - South of England Rare Breeds Centre, Hamstreet Country Show and the Royal Military Canal.
